About

Founded in June 1990 in response to an urgent need in the community, the Centre de soutien entr’Aidants celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2020. Thirty beautiful years of working daily alongside caregivers of elderly loved ones, always with one goal in mind: to fulfill our mission.

This exhibit traces the stories of the community that has gravitated around the Centre de soutien entr’Aidants over the past 30 years by means of 30 photo portraits and video testimonies. Discover the reality of caregivers and also that of volunteers and staff members who have all contributed to building the organization of today—their challenges as well as their joys and the various reasons that led them to adopt their chosen roles.

This exhibit is a journey to the heart of the caregiver’s reality, where emotions, memories, empathy and love are ever-present.

All are implicated, dedicated and above all, committed.
